Lexiva (fosamprenavir calcium)

Lexiva (fosamprenavir calcium) is a type of antiviral medication called a protease inhibitor used to treat HIV, which causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Lexiva is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- night sweats,
- weight loss,
- confusion,
- dry mouth,
- wheezing,
- weakness,
- cough,
- sore throat,
- burning eyes,
- skin pain,
- red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
- increased urination,
- fruity breath odor,
- menstrual changes, and
- dark colored urine,
- extreme thirst,
- pain or burning when you urinate,
- pale or yellowed skin,
- blood in your urine,
- cold sores,
- trouble speaking or swallowing,
- problems with balance or eye movement,
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- impotence
- prickly feeling,
- sudden and severe pain in your lower back or side,
