Follistim AQ Cartridge (follitropin beta injection)

Follistim AQ Cartridge (follitropin beta injection) contains human follicle-stimulating hormone (hFSH) and is used to treat infertility in women that is not due to primary ovarian failure. Follistim AQ Cartridge is also used to stimulate sperm production in men.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • chills,
  • rapid breathing,
  • tiredness,
  • chest pain,
  • muscle aches,
  • slurred speech,
  • weakness on one side of the body,
  • vision changes,
  • severe dizziness,
  • sudden severe headache,
  • little or no urination
  • swelling or ankles, hands, or feet,
  • vaginal bleeding,
  • pain or swelling of the calf muscles,
  • severe pain or swelling in the lower abdominal area,
  • sudden or rapid weight gain, and
