Ocufen (flurbiprofen sodium) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to prevent the pupil from constricting, or narrowing, during eye surgery. Ocufen is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- stinging,
- burning, or
- itching of the eyes for 1 to 2 minutes when Ocufen is applied
