Fludara (fludarabine)

Fludara (fludarabine) is a cancer medication used to treat B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Fludara is usually given after other cancer medications have been tried without successful response to treatment. The brand name Fludara is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- chills,
- vision problems,
- seizure,
- swelling,
- fainting,
- agitation,
- overactive reflexes,
- sore throat,
- flu symptoms,
- increased thirst,
- muscle weakness,
- mood changes,
- dark colored urine,
- mouth sores,
- drowsiness,
- rapid weight gain,
- unusual bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums),
- coughing up blood,
- pale or yellowed skin,
- fast or slow heart rate,
- unusual weakness,
- weak pulse,
- blood in your urine,
- cough with yellow or green mucus,
- stabbing chest pain,
- urinating less than usual or not at all,
- black, bloody or tarry stools,
- lower back pain,
- numbness or tingly feeling around your mouth,
- tightness,
- contraction,
- headache or pain behind your eyes,
- changes in behavior,
- severe blistering,
- peeling, and
- red skin rash
