Urispas (flavoxate hydrochloride tablets)

Urispas (flavoxate HCl) is a synthetic urinary tract spasmolytic used to treat bladder symptoms such as frequent or urgent urination, increased nighttime urination, bladder pain, and incontinence (urine leakage). These bladder symptoms are often caused by overactive bladder, prostate enlargement, bladder infections, or irritation of the urethra. Urispas is not an antibiotic, and does not cure infections. Urispas is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • confusion,
  • mood changes,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat
  • eye pain, and
