Gilenya (fingolimod capsules)

Gilenya (fingolimod) is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator used to treat patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) to reduce the frequency of exacerbations and to delay physical disability.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- vomiting,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- chills,
- body aches,
- tiredness,
- chest pain,
- dizziness,
- vision problems,
- seizure,
- blurred vision,
- headache,
- dark urine, and
- eye pain,
- sores in your mouth and throat,
- neck stiffness,
- increased sensitivity to light,
- cold sores,
- sores on your genital or anal area,
- vision loss,
- slow or irregular heartbeats,
- problems with speech, thought, vision, or muscle movement,
- shiny nodules on your skin,
- sores that do not heal,
- unusual moles that change in color or size,
- change in mental status,
