RiaSTAP (fibrinogen concentrate human for intravenous use) is a man-made form of the protein albumin and is used to treat bleeding episodes in people who have a congenital fibrinogen deficiency. RiaSTAP is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • fever
  • chills
  • vomiting
  • nausea, or
