Raplixa (fibrin sealant [human]) is a fibrin sealant indicated as an adjunct to hemostasis for mild to moderate bleeding in adults undergoing surgery when control of bleeding by standard surgical techniques (such as suture, ligature, and cautery) is ineffective or impractical.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- low blood pressure (hypotension),
- vomiting,
- itching,
- constipation,
- fever,
- pain,
- anemia, and high blood pressure (hypertension).
