Fentanyl Transdermal System for transdermal administration is an opioid analgesic indicated for the management of pain in opioid-tolerant patients, severe enough to require daily, around-the-clock, long-term opioid treatment and for which alternative treatment options are inadequate. Fentanyl Transdermal System is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache
- nausea
- diarrhea
- vomiting
- dizziness
- fatigue
- constipation
- rash
- abdominal pain
- depression
- weight loss
- drowsiness
- increased sweating
- weakness
- dry mouth
- palpitations
- feeling unwell (malaise)
- insomnia
- feeling cold
- swelling of the extremities
- vertigo
- ear problems
- muscle spasms
- itching, and
