Fentora (fentanyl buccal tablet)

Fentora (fentanyl citrate) is a narcotic (opioid) pain medicine used to treat "breakthrough" cancer pain that is not controlled by other medicines. Fentora is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • diarrhea
  • fainting,
  • sweating,
  • agitation,
  • shivering,
  • vomiting, and
  • hallucinations,
  • twitching,
  • fast heart rate,
  • weak or shallow breathing,
  • severe weakness,
  • loss of coordination,
  • fast or slow heart rate,
  • muscle stiffness,
  • stiff muscles,
  • slow breathing or breathing that stops,
