Trilipix (fenofibric acid capsules)

Trilipix (fenofibric acid) is a lipid regulating agent used to treat high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels. It is sometimes given together with other cholesterol-lowering medications. Trilipix is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• loss of appetite,
• fever,
• chills,
• rapid breathing,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
• chest pain,
• wheezing,
• weakness,
• sore throat,
• mouth sores,
• sudden cough,
• coughing up blood, and
• unusual bruising or bleeding,
• sharp stomach pain spreading to your back or shoulder blade,
• swelling, warmth, or redness in an arm or leg
• stomach pain after just having a meal,
