Fibricor (fenofibric acid)

Fibricor (fenofibric acid) is a lipid-regulating agent indicated as an adjunctive therapy to diet for treatment of severe hypertriglyceridemia and in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• loss of appetite,
• fever,
• chills,
• rapid breathing,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
• chest pain,
• wheezing,
• weakness,
• sore throat,
• mouth sores,
• sudden cough,
• coughing up blood, and
• unusual bruising or bleeding,
• sharp stomach pain spreading to your back or shoulder blade,
• stomach pain just after eating a meal,
• swelling, warmth or redness in an arm or leg

• Lipitor (atorvastatin calcium)
• Baycol (cerivastatin (removed from market 8/2001))
• Welchol (colesevelam hcl)

• Evkeeza (evinacumab-dgn for injection)
• Vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin)
• Zetia (ezetimibe tablets)
• Leqvio (inclisiran injection)
• Zocor (simvastatin)
