Triglide (fenofibrate)

type of Fibric Acid Agents

Triglide (fenofibrate) helps reduce cholesterol and triglycerides (fatty acids) in the blood and is used to treat high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels. High levels of these types of fat in the blood are associated with an increased risk of atherosclerosis (clogged arteries).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• dark urine,
• severe stomach/abdominal pain,
• persistent nausea/vomiting,
• yellowing eyes/skin, or

• Creon 5 (pancrelipase delayed-release minimicrospheres)
• Epanova (omega-3-carboxylic acids soft-gelatin capsules)
• Tricor (fenofibrate)
• Lopid (gemfibrozil)
• Leqvio (inclisiran injection)
• Kynamro (mipomersen sodium injection)
• Pravachol (pravastatin sodium)
• Roszet (rosuvastatin and ezetimibe tablets)
• Zocor (simvastatin)
