Fintepla (fenfluramineoral solution)

Fintepla (fenfluramine) is an anticonvulsant used to treat seizures associated with Dravet syndrome in patients 2 years of age and older.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- shortness of breath,
- chest pain,
- nausea,
- sweating,
- lightheadedness,
- blurred vision,
- diarrhea
- vomiting,
- weakness,
- loss of appetite,
- fever,
- weight loss,
- restlessness,
- nosebleed,
- loss of coordination, and
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- anxiety,
- trouble sleeping,
- mood or behavior changes,
- fast heart rate,
- hallucinations,
- thoughts of self-harm,
- agitation,
- muscle stiffness,
- panic attacks,
- impulsiveness,
- hostility,
- aggressions,
- hyperactivity (mentally or physically),
- increased depression,
- pounding heartbeats,
- fluttering in your chest,
- blue colored skin or lips,
- swelling in your lower legs,
- unusual tiredness,
- worsening seizures,
- tunnel vision,
- eye pain or redness,
- seeing halos around lights,
- severe headache,
- pounding in your neck or ears,
- shivering,
- twitching,
- slowed growth (in children)
