Feldene (piroxicam)

Feldene (piroxicam) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • shortness of breath,
  • tiredness,
  • stomach pain,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • swelling,
  • little or no urination,
  • swelling in your feet or ankles,
  • drowsiness,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • bloody or tarry stools,
  • yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • pale skin, and
  • coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
  • cold hands or feet,
  • clay colored stools,
  • pounding in neck or ears,
  • dark urine ,
  • feeling light-headed,

  • Euflexxa (sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection, 1%)
  • Hymovis (high molecular weight viscoelastic hyaluronan)
  • Motrin (ibuprofen)
  • Indocin (indomethacin)
  • Orudis (ketoprofen)
  • Qmiiz-ODT (meloxicam orally disintegrating tablets)
  • Naprelan (naproxen sodium)
