Rebyota (fecal microbiota rectal, live - jslm suspension, for rectal use)

Rebyota (fecal microbiota, live – jslm) is indicated for the prevention of recurrence of Clostridioides difficile (C. diff) infection in individuals 18 years of age and older, following antibiotic treatment for recurrent C. diff infection.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing, and
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat
The following drugs are related to Rebyota, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Dificid (fidaxomicin tablets for oral administration)
  • Firvanq (vancomycin hydrochloride for oral solution)
  • Flagyl (metronidazole)
  • Flagyl ER (metronidazole extended release tablets)
  • Penicillin VK (penicillin v potassium)
  • Vancocin (vancocin)
  • Vancomycin Hydrochloride (vancomycin hydrochloride injection)
