Fastin (phentermine)

Fastin (phentermine hydrochloride) is a type of appetite suppressant called a sympathomimetic amine used in the management of exogenous obesity over the short term (a few weeks) as an adjunct to a regimen of weight reduction based on caloric restriction. The brand name drug Fastin is no longer available in the U.S. A generic version is available.

The drug is often used to treat Obesity .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• tiredness,
• dizziness,
• fainting,
• chest pain or pressure,
• weakness
• abdominal swelling, and
• swelling of your ankle and leg swelling,
• bluish color of the lips or skin,

• Adipex-P (phentermine hydrochloride)
• Alli (orlistat 60 mg)
• Belviq (lorcaserin hydrochloride)
• Didrex (benzphetamine)
• Meridia (sibutramine hydrochloride monohydrate)

• Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate)
