Farydak (panobinostat capsules)
type of Antineoplastics HDAc Inhibitors, Antineoplastics Pan-Deacetylase Inhibitors
Farydak (panobinostat lactate) is a histone deacetylase inhibitor used in combination with bortezomib and dexamethasone, is indicated for the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least 2 prior regimens, including bortezomib and an immunomodulatory agent.
The drug is often used to treat Multiple myeloma .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- loss of appetite,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- cold hands and feet,
- confusion,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- chest pain,
- dizziness,
- headache,
- sweating,
- stomach pain (upper right side),
- increased thirst,
- dark urine, and
- bloody or tarry stools,
- coughing up blood,
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- fast or slow heartbeats,
- swelling in your lower legs,
- skin sores,
- bleeding that will not stop,
- pink or brown urine,
- little or no urine,
- hot and dry skin,
- heavy sweating,
- stomach cramps,
- feeling hot,
- severe or ongoing diarrhea,
- blue-colored lips,
- coughing with mucus,
