Vabysmo (faricimab-svoa injection)

Vabysmo (faricimab-svoa) is a vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of patients with Neovascular (Wet) Age-Related Macular Degeneration (nAMD) and Diabetic Macular Edema (DME).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• blurred vision,
• vomiting,
• fever,
• hives, 
• difficulty breathing, 
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, 
• eye redness,
• severe dizziness, 
• seeing halos around lights, 
• severe headache, 
• decreased vision, 
• eye pain,  
• flashes of light in one or both eyes,
• reduced side (peripheral) vision, 
• curtain-like shadow over your visual field,  
• leg pain, swelling or tenderness of the thigh or calf, 
• swelling of the leg, 
• skin that feels warm to touch, and
• reddish discoloration or red streaks

• Beovu (brolucizumab-dbll for intravitreal injection)
• Lucentis (ranibizumab injection)
