Falmina (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets) is an oral contraceptive indicated for the prevention of pregnancy in women who elect to use this product as a method of contraception. Falmina is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- vomiting,
- bloating,
- spotting,
- changes in menstrual flow,
- freckles or darkening of facial skin,
- nipple discharge,
- depression,
- acne,
- missed menstrual periods,
- breast changes (tenderness,
- pain,
- enlargement,
- problems with contact lenses,
- dizziness,
- abdominal pain,
- cramps,
- excess hair growth,
- changes in sex drive,
- mood changes,
- nausea,
- nervousness,
- rash (allergic),
- loss of scalp hair,
- vaginal infection including yeast infection,
- or weight changes.
