Proplex-T (factor ix complex)

Proplex T, Factor IX Complex, Heat Treated is a combination of four different clotting factors and other proteins used to treat or prevent bleeding episodes in people with hemophilia B. Proplex T is also used to control bleeding related to surgery or dentistry in people with hemophilia B. Proplex T may be available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• rash,
• easy bruising,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• fast heartbeats,
• rapid breathing,
• chest pain,
• wheezing,
• sweating,
• sudden cough,
• chest tightness,
• increased bleeding episodes,
• coughing up blood, and
• pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in one or both legs
• bleeding from a wound or where the medicine was injected,
