Konyne (factor ix complex)

Konyne (factor IX complex) 80 is a clotting factor used to treat or prevent bleeding in people with hemophilia B. Some forms of factor IX complex may also be used to treat or prevent bleeding in people with factor VII deficiency or inhibitors to factor VIII. Konyne is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• fever,
• shortness of breath,
• chest pain,
• unusual tiredness,
• dark urine, and
• severe dizziness
• persistent sore throat,
• persistent nausea or vomiting,
• yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice),
• change in the amount of urine,
• fast heartbeat,
• pain, redness, swelling of arms or legs,
• swelling of the ankles or feet,
• swelling at the injection site,
• new or increased bleeding or bruising,
• bluish fingers,
