Vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin)

Vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin) is a combination of a selective inhibitor of intestinal cholesterol and related phytosterol absorption, and an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (also called a "statin") used to treat high blood cholesterol.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
• fever
• tenderness
• loss of appetite
• unusual tiredness
• weakness
• upper stomach pain
• dark colored urine
• unexplained muscle pain
