Exservan (riluzole oral film)

Exservan (riluzole) is a benzothiazole class drug used to treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- fluttering in your chest,
- severe headache,
- blurred vision,
- fainting,
- slurred speech,
- very stiff (rigid) muscles,
- high fever,
- sudden dizziness,
- eye pain or swelling,
- sudden vision loss,
- tunnel vision,
- seeing halos around lights,
- fast, irregular, or pounding heartbeats,
- arm or leg weakness,
- trouble walking,
- loss of coordination,
- feeling unsteady,
- profuse sweating, and
- tremors
The following drugs are related to Exservan, either as a replacement or used together:
- Radicava (edaravone injection)
- Radicava ORS (edaravone oral suspension)
- Qaslody (tofersen injection, for intrathecal use)
- Rilutek (riluzole)
