Evicel (fibrin sealant (human))

Evicel (fibrin sealant, human) is a fibrin sealant indicated as an adjunct to hemostasis for use in patients undergoing surgery, when control of bleeding by standard surgical techniques (such as suture, ligature or cautery) is ineffective or impractical.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• loss of appetite,
• fever,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• chills,
• dizziness,
• muscle aches,
• headache,
• itching
• wheezing,
• fainting,
• sweating,
• cough,
• chest pain or pressure,
• rash, and
• irritability,
• severe dizziness,
• heart palpitations,
• dehydration,
• general weakness,
• transparent or clear fluid under the wound,
• pain in or around the wound,
• redness and warmth around the wound,
• rapid or irregular heartbeats,
• leg pain or swelling,
• pain in your back,
• excessive sweating,
• blueish lips or nails,
