Zortress (everolimus)
type of
Zortress (everolimus) is a macrolide immunosuppressant used to prevent organ rejection after a kidney or liver transplant. Zortress is used together with cyclosporine (Gengraf, Neoral, Sandimmune), steroids, and other medications. Afinitor is another brand of everolimus used to treat kidney cancer.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- itching,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- chills,
- blurred vision,
- dry mouth,
- headache,
- wheezing,
- flu-like symptoms,
- unusual tiredness,
- skin pain,
- little or no urination,
- increased thirst,
- increased urination,
- fruity breath odor,
- shortness of breath, and
- dark colored urine,
- new or worsening cough,
- blood in your urine,
- cold hands and feet
- fever with nausea or vomiting,
- pain in your stomach, groin, lower back, or side,
- redness, warmth, swelling, oozing, or slow healing of a wound or surgical incision,
