Myambutol (ethambutol)

Myambutol (ethambutol) is an antibiotic used to treat tuberculosis (TB). Myambutol is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- upper stomach pain,
- dark urine,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- confusion,
- clay-colored stools,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- vision problems,
- blurred vision,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- pain behind the eyes,
- chest pain, and
- hallucinations,
- skin sores,
- painful mouth sores,
- easy bruising or bleeding,
- burning in your eyes,
- shortness of breath
- little or no urinating,
- general ill feeling,
- bleeding gums,
- nosebleeds,
- increased sensitivity of your eyes to light,
- new or worsening cough with fever,
- vision loss that may be permanent,
- trouble focusing,
- loss of vision in one eye that lasts an hour or longer,
- loss of color vision,
- pain with eye movement,
- numbness of tingling in your hands or feet,
- cold or flue symptoms,
