Estring (estradiol vaginal ring)

Estring (estradiol vaginal ring) is a form of estrogen, a female sex hormone, used to treat certain symptoms of menopause such as dryness, burning, and itching of the vaginal area and urgency or irritation with urination.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- vomiting,
- weight changes,
- insomnia,
- back pain,
- abdominal pain,
- urinary tract infection,
- bloating,
- increased vaginal discharge,
- vaginal discomfort or pain,
- breast tenderness,
- upper respiratory tract infection, and
- hot flashes.
