Femtrace (estradiol acetate) is a form of the female hormone estrogen used to treat moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms due to menopause.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache
- fatigue
- abdominal pain
- acne
- bloating
- cramps
- vaginal bleeding
- vaginal discharge
- spotting between periods
- changes in your menstrual periods
- breast tenderness or swelling
- nipple discharge
- vaginal itching
- freckles or darkening of facial skin, and
- loss of scalp hair
