Evamist (estradiol transdermal) Spray is a form of estrogen, a female sex hormone, used to treat certain symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness, burning, and irritation.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• vomiting,
• confusion,
• tiredness,
• pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
• sweating,
• chest pain or pressure,
• sudden numbness or weakness,
• slurred speech,
• coughing up blood,
• memory problems,
• sudden vision loss,
• unusual vaginal bleeding,
• stabbing chest pain,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes,
• pain or warmth in one or both legs,
• unusual behavior,
• lump in your breast,
• pelvic pain,
• constipation, and
• swelling or tenderness in your stomach,
• severe stomach pain spreading to your back,
• increased thirst or urination
