Spravato (esketamine nasal spray)

Spravato (esketamine) Nasal Spray is a non-competitive N-methyl D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist indicated, in conjunction with an oral antidepressant, for the treatment of treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • lightheadedness,
  • chest pain,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • painful urination,
  • hallucinations,
  • extreme drowsiness,
  • pounding in your neck or ears, and
  • sleep problems,
  • seizure
  • worsening depression,
  • thoughts of hurting yourself,
  • problems with thinking or memory,
  • unusual changes in mood,
  • unusual or unpleasant memories,
  • increased urinating,
  • urgent need to urinate,
