Erythromycin Lactobionate I.V. is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. Erythromycin Lactobionate I.V. is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• dark urine,
• clay-colored stools, and
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
• vomiting,
• fever,
• easy bruising,
• unusual bleeding,
• tiredness,
• seizure,
• fainting,
• sore throat,
• burning eyes,
• skin pain,
• red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
• stomach pain (upper right side),
• fast or pounding heartbeats,
• diarrhea that is watery or bloody (even if it occurs months after your last dose),
• severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
• sever stomach pain,
• headache with chest pain and sever dizziness,
• hearing problems (rare),
