EryPed (erythromycin ethylsuccinate) is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria. EryPed is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • feeling tired,
  • stomach pain or cramping,
  • mild heartburn,
  • vaginal itching or discharge, or
  • itching or skin rash
