Erygel (erythromycin topical gel)

Erygel (erythromycin topical) Gel USP 2% is a topical (for the skin) antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as severe acne. Erygel is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• worsening of your skin condition,
• redness,
• stinging,
• oozing or other signs of skin infection,
• severe stomach pain, and
• severe burning,
• diarrhea that is watery or bloody (even if it occurs months after your last dose)

• Acanya Gel (clindamycin phosphate 1.2% and benzoyl peroxide 2.5%)
• Differin Lotion .1 (adapalene lotion .1%)
• Avita (tretinoin gel)
