Steglujan (ertugliflozin and sitagliptin tablets)

Steglujan (ertugliflozin and sitagliptin) is a combination of a sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor and a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when treatment with both ertugliflozin and sitagliptin is appropriate.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • dizziness,
  • blurred vision,
  • joint pain,
  • back pain,
  • fainting,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • increased thirst,
  • severe stomach pain,
  • severe dizziness, and
  • shaking,
  • increased thirst or urination,
  • hunger,
  • fast heartbeat,
  • feeling unwell,
  • rash
  • pink or bloody urine,
  • sudden weight gain,
  • changes in the amount of urine,
  • tingling of the hands or feet,
  • urinating less than usual,
  • unusual dry mouth,
  • sudden sweating,
  • unusual skin blisters,
  • burning, painful or frequent urination,
  • swelling of the legs and feet,
  • unusual vaginal discharge, burning, itching or odor,
  • redness, itching, discharge or swelling of the penis,
  • pain, redness, swelling in or around the genital or anal area,
  • pain, tenderness, sores or ulcers on the legs or feet,
