Segluromet (ertugliflozin and metformin hydrochloride tablets)

Segluromet (ertugliflozin and metformin hydrochloride) is a combination of a sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor and a biguanide indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are not adequately controlled on a regimen containing ertugliflozin or metformin, or in patients who are already treated with both ertugliflozin and metformin.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- rash,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- dizziness,
- blurred vision,
- fainting,
- shaking,
- itching, and
- severe dizziness
- increased thirst or urination,
- hunger,
- fast heartbeat,
- feeling unwell,
- pink or bloody urine,
- heavy sweating,
- redness, itching, or swelling of the penis,
- changes in the amount of urine,
- urinating less than usual,
- unusual dry mouth,
- sudden sweating,
- burning, painful, frequent, or urgent urination,
- swelling of your legs or feet,
- unusual vaginal discharge, burning, or itching,
- vaginal odor,
- unusual discharge from the penis,
- pain, redness, swelling in or around the genital area,
- tinging of the hands or feet,
