Tarceva (erlotinib)

Tarceva (erlotinib) is a cancer chemotherapy medication used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or pancreatic cancer.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chills,
  • vision problems,
  • pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
  • swelling,
  • wheezing,
  • sweating,
  • chest pain or pressure,
  • sore throat,
  • burning eyes,
  • skin pain,
  • red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
  • little or no urination,
  • severe stomach pain,
  • dark urine, and
  • sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
  • slurred speech,
  • eye pain,
  • coughing up blood,
  • severe ongoing nausea,
  • sudden chest pain or discomfort,
  • dry cough,
  • sudden severe headache,
  • rapid weight gain (especially in your face and midsection),
  • problems with balance,
  • irritation of the eye,
