Veletri (epoprostenol powder for intravenous administration)

Veletri (epoprostenol) Powder for Intravenous (IV) Administration is a prostaglandin used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (WHO Group 1) to improve exercise capacity.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • chest pain,
  • headache,
  • sweating,
  • low blood pressure (hypotension),
  • dizziness,
  • vomiting,
  • indigestion,
  • diarrhea,
  • flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
  • anxiety,
  • abdominal pain,
  • jaw pain,
  • joint or muscle pain,
  • agitation, or
  • an abnormally slow or fast heart rate
