Epanova (omega-3-carboxylic acids) is a lipid-regulating agent used as an adjunct to diet to reduce triglyceride (TG) levels in adult patients with severe (≥ 500 mg/dL) hypertriglyceridemia.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- itching,
- skin rash,
- dizziness,
- headache,
- sweating,
- cough,
- tightness in the chest,
- fast or irregular heartbeat,
- coughing up blood,
- difficulty swallowing,
- paralysis,
- bleeding gums,
- nosebleeds,
- weakness
- unusual tiredness, and
- red or dark brown urine,
- increased menstrual flow or vaginal bleeding,
- prolonged bleeding from cuts,
- red or black, tarry stools,
