Rozlytrek (entrectinib capsules)
type of Antineoplastic Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors
Rozlytrek (entrectinib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors are ROS1-positive; and adult and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older with solid tumors that have a neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) gene fusion without a known acquired resistance mutation, are metastatic or where surgical resection is likely to result in severe morbidity, and have progressed following treatment or have no satisfactory alternative therapy.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- dizziness,
- fluttering in your chest,
- blurred vision,
- wheezing,
- cough,
- mood changes,
- rapid weight gain,
- trouble sleeping,
- hallucinations,
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- sudden dizziness,
- swelling in your lower legs,
- double vision,
- increased sensitivity to light,
- trouble breathing while laying down,
- bone pain,
- problems moving,
- right side upper stomach pain,
- problems with memory or concentration,
- seeing flashes of light, and
- "floaters" in your vision
