Synjardy XR Extended-release Tablets (empagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release)

Synjardy XR (empagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release) tablets, for oral use is a combination of a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor and a biguanide, indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when treatment with both empagliflozin and metformin is appropriate.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- tiredness,
- stomach pain,
- dizziness,
- weakness,
- little or no urination,
- increased urination,
- trouble breathing,
- feeling cold,
- unusual drowsiness,
- feeling unwell,
- unusual muscle pain,
- irregular heart rate,
- blood in your urine, and
- pain in your pelvis or back
- pain or burning when you urination,
