Hemlibra (emicizumab-kxwh injection, for subcutaneous use)

Hemlibra (emicizumab-kxwh) injection is a bispecific factor IXa- and factor X-directed antibody indicated for routine prophylaxis to prevent or reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes in adult and pediatric patients with hemophilia A (congenital factor VIII deficiency) with factor VIII inhibitors.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• vomiting,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• confusion,
• stomach pain,
• chest pain,
• vision problems,
• back pain,
• headache,
• weakness,
• little or no urination,
• coughing up blood,
• eye pain or swelling,
• unusually sick,
• swelling or redness in your arms or legs,
• numbness in your face, and
• yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice)
