Gamifant (emapalumab-lzsg injection)

Gamifant (emapalumab-lzsg) is an interferon gamma (IFN?) blocking antibody indicated for the treatment of adult and pediatric (newborn and older) patients with primary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) with refractory, recurrent or progressive disease or intolerance with conventional HLH therapy.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• itching,
• fever,
• night sweats,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• weight loss,
• chills,
• tiredness,
• chest pain,
• sweating,
• cough,
• mouth and throat ulcers,
• skin rash or redness,
• warmth, redness, or painful sores on your skin,
• cough with bloody mucus, and
• new or worsening signs of infection
