Elocon Ointment (mometasone furoate ointment)

Elocon (mometasone furoate) Ointment is a corticosteroid prescribed for the treatment of skin conditions
such as atopic dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, lupus,
genital itching, plaque psoriasis, anal itching, psoriasis of the scalp, and
seborrheic dermatitis.

The drug is often used to treat Lupus , Psoriasis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • skin rash,
  • blurred vision,
  • burning,
  • itching,
  • dryness,
  • numbness or tingling,
  • mood changes
  • redness,
  • swollen hair follicles,
  • spider veins,
  • changes in color of treated skin,
  • blisters,
  • pimples,

  • rash or irritation around your mouth,
