Elocon (mometasone furoate)

Elocon (mometasone furoate) Cream, 0.1% is a corticosteroid topical cream, lotion, or ointment indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses in patients 2 years of age or older.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• burning,
• itching,
• dryness,
• skin rash,
• redness,
• swollen hair follicles,
• spider veins,
• changes in color of treated skin,
• blisters,
• pimples,
• crusting of treated skin, or
• stretch marks.
• numbness or tingling,
• thinning or softening of your skin,
• skin rash or irritation around your mouth,
