Skysona (elivaldogene autotemcel suspension for intravenous infusion)

Skysona (elivaldogene autotemcel) is indicated to slow the progression of neurologic
dysfunction in boys 4-17 years of age with early, active cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy (CALD). Early, active CALD
refers to asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic (neurologic function score, NFS ≤ 1) boys
who have gadolinium enhancement on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Loes scores of
0.5-9.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- rash,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- skin rash,
- easy bruising,
- pale skin,
- shortness of breath,
- chills,
- shortness of breath,
- seizure,
- constipation,
- dry mouth,
- headache,
- fatigue,
- sweating,
- cough,
- trouble swallowing,
- vomiting
- painful urination,
- increased urination,
- congestion,
- abdominal pain,
- hair loss,
- fast heartbeat,
- easy bruising, and
- red or swollen gums,
- frequent urination,
- white patches in your mouth,
- neck or back pain,
- decreased appetite,
- inflammation of mucus membranes,
- febrile neutropenia,
- Abnormal bleeding,
- joint pain and swelling,
- sores in the mouth,
- pain when urinating,
- sores or pain around the anus,
- unusual vaginal discharge or itching,
- pain in your ears and discharge,
- pus filled pimples,
- pain, redness and swelling of your eyes,
- pus or discharge from a wound,
- severe coughing,
- purple or red spots on the skin,
- vascular device infection,
- increased or thicker saliva in the mouth, and
- paleness
- low white blood cell count (leukopenia, lymphopenia, neutropenia),
- low platelets (thrombocytopenia),
- low iron (anemia), and
- low potassium (hypokalemia).
