Relpax (eletriptan hydrobromide)

type of Antimigraine Agents, Serotonin 5-HT-Receptor Agonists

Relpax (eletriptan hydrobromide) is a selective serotonin receptor agonist used to treat migraine headaches. Relpax will only treat a headache that has already begun. Relpax will not prevent headaches or reduce the number of attacks.

The drug is often used to treat Migraine .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• dizziness,
• weakness,
• upset stomach,
• drowsiness,
• mild headache (not a migraine),
• stomach pain or cramps, 
• dry mouth, or
• tingling/numbness,
• pressure or heavy feeling in any part of your body,
• flushing (warmth, redness, or tingling under your skin).
