Elestat (epinastine hcl ophthalmic solution)

Elestat (epinastine HCl ophthalmic solution) is an antihistamine used to prevent itching of the eyes associated with allergies. Elestat is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- swelling and redness of the eye,
- severe discomfort of the eye,
- crusting or drainage around your eyelids, and
- severe burning, stinging, or other irritation after using the eye drops
