Elelyso (taliglucerase alfa)

Elelyso (taliglucerase alfa) for injection is a hydrolytic lysosomal glucocerebroside-specific enzyme indicated for long-term enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) for adults with a confirmed diagnosis of type 1 Gaucher disease.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • skin rash,
  • lightheadedness,
  • dizziness,
  • wheezing,
  • cough,
  • redness
  • itching, and
  • chest tightness,
  • flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
  • throat irritation,
The following drugs are related to Elelyso, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Cerdelga (eiglustat capsules)
  • Cerezyme (imiglucerase)
  • Zavesca (miglustat)
