Elaprase (idursulfase) Solution for Intravenous Infusion is an enzyme used to treat some of the symptoms of a genetic condition called Hunter syndrome (also called mucopolysaccharidosis). Elaprase may improve walking ability in people with this condition. Elaprase is not a cure for Hunter syndrome.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and
  • seizures
The following drugs are related to Elaprase, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Indium (111 oxyquinoline)
